AIPEF, which is a group of engineers working in state-run power utilities, has claimed that the revision would lead to power prices rising by almost `2\/unit, affecting power consumers in Gujarat. According to sources, Aptel would take up the case on August 1, and would send notices to Adani Power, CERC and GUVNL.<\/p>\n<p>CERC, on Supreme Court\u2019s direction, allowed Gujarat discom GUVNL to amend the relevant power purchase agreement (PPA) with the company. The power regulator\u2019s April 12 order had said that the supplemental PPA will take effect retrospectively from October 15, 2018.
