The decision could make the PSPCL poorer by Rs 500 crore per annum which means that this additional burden will have to be passed on to \u201cdomestic and commercial consumers\u201d who are already paying higher power rates and taxes.<br \/>\nThe PSERC in its recent tariff order for 2019-20 has decided that henceforth billet heaters having contract demand up to 100 KVA shall not be considered as power intensive unit (PIU) load.
