The prices of these fuels will increase by more than \u20b92 a litre. That\u2019s because the Budget has increased two taxes \u2014 the Special Additional Excise duty, and also the Road and Infrastructure Cess \u2014 by \u20b91 a litre each on petrol and diesel. Simply put, the Budget has increased total taxes on petrol and diesel by \u20b92 each.
