{"id":278220,"date":"2019-06-12T06:41:32","date_gmt":"2019-06-12T06:41:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/?p=278220"},"modified":"2019-06-12T06:46:00","modified_gmt":"2019-06-12T06:46:00","slug":"reliance-bp-to-develop-third-gas-project-in-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/reliance-bp-to-develop-third-gas-project-in-india\/","title":{"rendered":"Reliance, BP to develop third gas project in India"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mumbai: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and its exploration and production partner BP Plc on Tuesday announced the sanction of the MJ project (also known as D55) in Block KG-D6, a deep water gas field off the east coast of India.<\/p>\n<p>MJ is the third of three new projects in the Block KG-D6 integrated development plan and its approval follows sanctions for the development of \u2018R-Series\u2019 deep-water gas field in June 2017 and for the Satellites cluster in April 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Together the three projects are expected to develop a total of about 3 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of discovered gas resources with a total investment of circa \u20b935,000 crore ($5 billion).
