NEW DELHI: The IndiGo scrip fell sharply on Thursday, a day after reports of disagreement between the airline\u2019s two promoters \u2014 Rahul Bhatia and Rakesh Gangwal \u2014 surfaced. The low cost carrier\u2019s (LCC) scrip closed 8.8 per cent lower at Rs 1,466.60 on the BSE index, in one of its sharpest one-day falls after touching an intra-day low of Rs 1,450.50.
\nIndiGo CEO Ronojoy Dutta on Thursday wrote a mail to employees, saying: \u201c\u2026 you are all aware of the press reports regarding alleged disagreements between our two promoters Rahul Bhatia and Rakesh Gangwal. I want to assure you that the growth strategy of the airline remains unchanged and firmly in place, and the management is fully charged by the board to implement it.\u201d
