BENGALURU: Over 150 pilots, in-flight crew members, engineers and ground staff working with Jet Airways banded together for a peaceful protest at Town Hall on Monday demanding the central government\u2019s intervention in keeping the airline afloat.
\nDonning their uniforms and armed with banners and placards that read \u2018Save Jet Airways\u2019, a majority of the staffers said they\u2019re still hoping to fly again.
\n\u201cOver 20,000 Jet Airways employees across India and 500 in Bengaluru have been hit by the recent developments. This protest is an appeal to the authorities concerned to save us from this situation. Staff members across the spectrum have been reporting to work every day but have no work with all operations being temporarily suspended,\u201d said Harish Shenoy, general manager, Jet Airways, Bengaluru.
