State-run fuel retailers today increased the price of petrol by 7 paise a litre and diesel by 10 paise a litre.<\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of this year, the price of petrol has gone up by about \u20b93.5 a litre and that of diesel by about \u20b95 a litre.<\/p>\n<p>A litre of petrol now costs \u20b972.24 a litre in Delhi, \u20b977.87 in Mumbai, \u20b975.02 in Chennai, \u20b974.64 in Bengaluru, \u20b972.37 in Gurgaon and \u20b974.33 in Kolkata.
