The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has only been able to restore the transmission line up to Doda but Kishtwar continues to reel under darkness. <\/p>\n
The slight relief has, however, come from the restoration of the 33-kV line from Thathri to Kishtwar on February 17 night. It supplies electricity to essential services such as district hospital and other important installations in the district. <\/p>\n
\u201cThe NHPC infrastructure has suffered a huge damage to its towers between Doda and Thathri. Seven towers have been badly damaged.
