{"id":21310,"date":"2015-06-30T11:50:32","date_gmt":"2015-06-30T11:50:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/?p=21310"},"modified":"2015-06-30T11:50:32","modified_gmt":"2015-06-30T11:50:32","slug":"etihad-airways-and-pia-announce-new-codeshare-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/etihad-airways-and-pia-announce-new-codeshare-agreement\/","title":{"rendered":"Etihad Airways and PIA announce new codeshare agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Etihad Airways and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) have signed a codeshare agreement which will provide travellers with enhanced connections between the UAE, Pakistan and beyond. <\/p>\n<p>Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways will place its EY code on PIA flights, whereas PIA&#8217;s PK code will be placed on Etihad Airways&#8217; flights between Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Abu Dhabi. <\/p>\n<p>Also, PK code will be added to Etihad Airways&#8217; flights from Abu Dhabi to many of the global destinations operated by Etihad Airways. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our unique partner strategy has been highly successful and we are pleased to add Pakistan International Airlines to our growing list of successful code share partners,&#8221; said Kevin Knight, Etihad Airways&#8217; Chief Strategy and Planning Officer. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is indeed a great opportunity for PIA to join hands with Etihad Airways, connecting Pakistan to UAE and around the globe, expanding reach to more destinations for the convenience of valued passengers,&#8221; said Khurram Mushtaq, Director Marketing of Pakistan International Airlines. <\/p>\n<p>The first travel date will be July 27, 2015.
