His family mem- bers are of the strong view that it is a case of homicide. The Trust filed a Crim- inal Complaint (C.C. No. 105/SW/2024 Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust vs ChetanMehta & Or s ) unde r s e c t i on 156(3) of the Cr.P.C. against certain mem- bers of Group-B and Mr Sashidhar under S. 304, 120(b) and 34 of the IPC. The Trust sought the direction of the court to register an FIR against the proposed accused for the culpable homi- cide of Late Kishore Mehta. They alleged that it was not a natural death, but had occurred on account of harass- ment caused by all the respondents in collusion with each other. Fur- ther, they alleged that the bank deliberately followed the coercive means indicating con- s p i r a c y amo n g t h e respondents to harass and t o r t u r e K i sho r Mehta. However, the Magis- trate at Bandra court in Mumbai, on August 3, 2024 dismissed the said complaint for lack of evidence. The Trust has filed review petition against the said order, which is pending.
