Gauge Change: Lalitgram-Raghopur gauge conversion – Completing the gauge conversion work of 20 km long Lalitgram-Raghopur railway section, inspection of this section was done by CCRS on 25.11.2021 and the permission of CCRS has also been received on the next day on 26.11.2021. It may be noted that under the 110.74 km long Saharsa-Forbisganj Gauge Conversion Project, so far including Saharsa-Garhbaruari (16 km), Garhbaruari-Supaul (11 km), Supaul-Saraigarh (25 km) and Saraigarh-Raghopur (11 km) rail section. Till now a total of 82 km gauge conversion work has been completed and the remaining work of this project will be completed soon. After completion of this project, Saharsa to Darbhanga and Forbesganj will be connected by brand gauge rail link.
