Emphasising the rapid pace of aviation sector, Uttar Pradesh is all set to become the first state in India to have 21 airports, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath informed on Wednesday.
“There has been ongoing infrastructural growth in land, water, and air sectors in the state. Uttar Pradesh is soon going to become the first state with 21 airports,” the Chief Minister informed the state assembly.
UP bolsters aviation infrastructure
The state has seen rapid growth of aviation infrastructure in the past 9 years, the Union Minister Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya M. Scindia said in January last month and shared that Uttar Pradesh had only 6 airports in 2014,
