What are Solar Rooftop Panels?
The solar panels that are installed on the rooftop of buildings are termed as solar rooftop panels. These panels are made of photovoltaic cells that harness the energy of sunlight which is then converted into electricity. Solar rooftop panels are square in shape and they are made of conductive materials such as silicon. These solar panels can be installed on the rooftop of residential, commercial or industrial buildings to generate electricity from the sun’s rays. Solar rooftop panels are of two types: solar rooftop panels with battery (for storage) and solar rooftop panels connected to the grid.
