Starting from Delhi’s Rao Tula Ram Marg, the National Highway 48, originally meant to ease traffic for commuters travelling from the capital to Gurgaon and for intra-city movement, has plunged into chaos since the construction work commenced on the expressway.
Commuters, especially office-goers travelling from South Delhi to Gurgaon, complained that they are facing the “worst traffic” in NCR. Delhi Traffic Police had stated that both carriageways on the NH-48 will be closed for 90 days to facilitate the construction of two underpasses and a flyover. While the traffic police had said the movement is slow from Rangpuri to Rajokri and a delay of 15-20 minutes was noted,
