Amidst chaos in the aviation sector caused by the grounding of Jet Airways a few online travel aggregators (OTAs) and airline companies have come to the rescue of the passengers.
While a few are offering discounts specially for the Jet passengers, others are trying to cash in on the demand that will arise ahead of the summer holidays.
OTAs such as EaseMyTrip, ixigo.com, MakeMyTrip, and Goibibo are running discounts, factoring the coming holiday season.
Airlines such as SpiceJet and IndiGo are not only offering discounts, but also are planning to run their respective fleet in Jet Airways’ slot after getting approvals from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
