The Uttar Pradesh government has said that the electric vehicles manufactured in the state will be exported to other South Asian countries and even United States.
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has told his officials that the auto and electric vehicles in western and central UP have ample resources and just need to be pushed, PTI quoted the government stated.
The CM said the move will also generate employment on a large scale. The gross state value addition of UP in the auto sector was $1.5 billion in 2019 which can be increased to $5 billion in the next five years.
