The Delhi BJP lashed out at AAP Government saying Arvind Kejriwal Government has cheated the people of Delhi in the name of giving free power, as electricity bills in the national Capital are set to go up with the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) allowing power distribution companies (discoms) to increase power purchase agreement cost.
Addressing a Press conference,BJP MPs Manoj Tiwari and Ramesh Bidhuri, demanded the Kejriwal government to withdraw the hike. In a related development, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri on Monday held a meeting with all MLAs and decided to protest over the power tariff hike at the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday.
