The Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday recovered two AK-47 assault rifles and 60 bullets during fresh raids in the ongoing money-laundering investigation in connection with an illegal mining case, official sources said.
The two weapons, 60 rounds and two magazines were found at a house in Ranchi allegedly belonging to one Prem Prakash, who is stated to be involved in the case. This was the second time when the ED has raided the premises linked to Prakash.
The federal probe agency raided about 17-20 premises in Jharkhand, neighbouring Bihar, Tamil Nadu and the Delhi-NCR as part of the operation.
