Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), a public sector defence aviation company, has recorded a turnover of over Rs. 19,400 crore (provisional and unaudited) for the financial year ended March 31, an increase from Rs. 18,284 crore reported in the previous year.
The company’s revenue growth exceeded 6 per cent during 2018-19, compared to 3.8 per cent during 2017-18.
“The performance of the company in 2018-19 has encouraged us to focus more on design and development of indigenous products and technologies and development of aerospace and defence manufacturing eco-system. We will be more dedicated towards meeting the current and future requirements of the customers,” said R Madhavan, CMD, HAL.
“This strategy will also help HAL stay on the growth track and meet the expectations of the shareholders,” he added.
