SpiceJet is investigating its security personnel after allegations from airhostesses that they were strip-searched and touched inappropriately.
A video shot of these airhostesses complaining about the incident has surfaced. It was shot at the Mumbai airport.
A senior SpiceJet executive said it was a “pat-down” search. He added the number of such searches have increased after more than a dozen incidents were flagged of airhostesses pocketing money collected from on-board sales of food and other products.
