The State government is aiming to produce 1,000 MW power from solar projects, Minister for Electricity M.M. Mani has said. He was inaugurating the third edition of the Kerala Renewable Energy Entrepreneurs and Promoters Association Green Power Expo 2018-19 on Wednesday.
The Minister said the plan was to generate 500MW power from rooftop solar panels and the remaining 500MW from floating solar panels which would be installed on dams.
