Company achieves 42 per cent energy savings, uses 46 per cent less water and has 100 per cent height adjustable workstations
The LinkedIn Technology Information Limited, Bengaluru office, said that it has been awarded LEED Platinum certification. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system, developed by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), is the foremost programme for buildings, homes and communities that are designed, constructed, maintained and operated for improved environmental and human health performance.
“At LinkedIn, we are absolutely committed to protecting the planet while we are growing globally. That’s why we design our workspaces with the highest sustainability standards like LEED, and over 60 per cent of our global office footprint has a green building certification,” said Peggy Brannigan, Global Programme Manager for Sustainability at LinkedIn.
