In an effort to decongest the traffic flow in Gurugram, new flyovers and underpasses will be constructed in Gurugram. The district has been given more flyover and underpass projects.
“The sites where construction work is likely to soon start are at Hero Hoda Chowk to Northern Peripheral Road (NPR), Near HUDA City Center Metro Station. Aaprt from these, Foot Over Bridges (FOBs) will be constructed at Mahavir Chowk, flyover at Gurudwara Road and Kadipur Chowk to help pedestrians cross roads safely.
Once operational, the FOBs will reduce the number of jay walkers who crowd the already slow moving traffic”, an official said.
