Under the ‘UDAN’ scheme, the daily flight services to and fro Raipur-Allahabad will commence from June 22. The flight ticket rate will begin at Rs 1999.
UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik), is a regional connectivity scheme launched by central government aiming the Tier-II cities to make air-travel affordable and widespread.
Indigo Airlines in a statement issued had said that from June 22, Airlines is commencing flight service from six new routes. Under the UDAN scheme, the flights from Raipur-Allahabad, Allahabad-Raipur, Allahabad-Kolkata, Kolkata-Allahabad including Jabalpur will commence.
As per flight schedule, the flight will take off from Allahabad at 10.05 am and reach Raipur at 12.00 pm while from Raipur it will depart at 12.20 pm and reach Allahabad at 1.50 pm.
