China is maneuvering Pakistan to cripple India via the $62 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project, which it has described and projected as a transformative economic initiative, an American expert on Asian affairs has claimed. CPEC connects China restive Xinjiang province with Gwadar Port in Balochistan and traverse through the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
