Mahanagar Gas Ltd made a stellar debut on the bourses on July 1, 2016 by listing at Rs 540 on BSE, registering a premium of 28.27 per cent over the issue price of Rs 421 a piece. The scrip hit an intra-day high of Rs 549.15, before closing the day at Rs 519.90, up 23.49 per cent on BSE. On July 15, it closed at Rs 501.80 a piece.
