NEW DELHI: In a bid to further scale up the evacuation efforts, the government has deployed 80 flights under ‘Operation Ganga’ to evacuate stranded Indians from Ukraine. The government has also roped in more than two dozen Ministers to monitor evacuation missions without any hiccups, sources told ANI on Thursday.

MUMBAI: Private carrier Go First on Friday said it has operated first evacuation flight to New Delhi from Budapest in Hungary to bring back 177 Indian evacuees from war-hit Ukraine. NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force’s first evacuation flight with 200 Indians from Romanian capital Bucharest landed at the Hindon air base here in the early hours of Thursday, sources said. The first flight — which was conducted using C-17 military transport aircraft — landed in Delhi at 1.30 am.

CHICAGO: United Airlines said on Wednesday it has stopped using Russian airspace for flights between the US and Mumbai and Delhi in India. An airline spokesperson called the move ‘temporary,’ but gave no further details.
