GMR Highways raises Rs 700 cr debt to prepay Yes Bank
GMR Highways has raised ₹700 crore debt from foreign portfolio investors Zeal Global Opportunities Fund and Nova Global Opportunities Fund to prepay loans raised from Yes Bank, said two people with knowledge of the matter. Both invested ₹350 crore each in secured, unlisted and unrated bonds of GMR Highways maturing on February 20, 2028.
Road ministry to release excess performance security deposit to contractors to ease liquidity crunch
The ministry of road transport and highways will cap the additional performance security deposit for existing road contractors building highways on the engineering-procurement-construction (EPC) mode to 3% of the bid price and release any additional performance security deposited by them at the time of bidding to ease the liquidity crunch.
